Breakout: Zero G

Solo Project

I made this very simple game in about two weeks worth of time. It’s a brick-breaker, except instead of a paddle or bat, the player controls a “gravity sphere”, which can attract bullets into its gravity. The player can then fling these bullets at the bricks. There is a streak scoring system inspired by Call of Duty and Devil May Cry.

This was an incredibly fun project!

Play It!

You can play it right here (please use the full-screen button to full-screen the game):

Click and hold the mouse to move the gravity sphere. Use the gravity sphere to attract and fling the bullets at the bricks. If you run out of bullets, you lose.

Mobile: If you’re on the phone, please rotate to landscape mode. You can hold your finger to control the gravity sphere.
